Musiał was born on 8 February 1977. He has a coaching diploma from the University of Physical Education and Sport. He is also UEFA’s A licence holder. Musiał was offered the coaching position at Wisła at the end of 2011. ”Just before Christmas, I talked to coach Kazimierz Moskal. I had my mind already set so I just needed to meet the President. We had a meeting between Christmas and the New Year. The job offer made by Wisła came to my huge surprise but my reaction was enthusiastic”, says the new assistant coach.

During his coaching career, Musiał’s longest period of employment was with Górnik Wieliczka. After his departure from Wisła, he was employed by Górnik Wieliczka too. He began as an assistant of coach Robert Kasperczyk in Górnik Wieliczka to later become the head coach of the team. For the last six months, he has held a head coaching position in Polish Fourth League team Lotnik Kryspinów. ”Today, I am definitely more experienced than I was during my first employment with Wisła. I managed to acquire some practical knowledge. I believe I am well-prepared for the new role and hope for a success”, assures Musiał.
