After the defeat against Piast Gliwice, Michał Probierz has decided to resign as manager. "I would like to thank President Cupiał for his trust, and I would also like to thank the supporters for all the confidence they had in me until the very last game. It's important to know when to quit without looking back. This is why I decided to resign" – said the former Wisła manager. On Tuesday, his resignation was accepted by the club's management, and on Wednesday his duties were taken over by Tomasz Kulawik.

Tomasz Kulawik was born on 4th May, 1969 in Olkusz. He played 12 seasons in Wisła Kraków, winning two Polish championships, the Polish Cup, the Polish SuperCup and the league cup. After ending his career as a player, Kulawik went on to become a manager. He managed such teams as Bolesław Bukowno and the White Star's reserves.

In Autumn 2005, when Jerzy Engel was discharged, he took over as manager of Wisła Kraków. Similarly, in August 2010, he became temporary manager when Henryk Kasperczak left the club.

Kulawik also managed the White Star youth team, winning the 2007/2008 league and finishing second in the following season.

"I became a manager so that I could accept such tasks without hesitation. Everybody wants Wisła to play good football. This is the task ahead of me. I want the team to start playing like we used to in the past in Kraków" – said the new White Star manager.
