Jovanović and Gervasio join the team
Published: 25-06-2011 10:32The training camp in the Netherlands was joined by two new players: Marko Jovanović and Gervasio Daniel Nunez. Both were approved by their clubs to participate in trainings with Wisła and they are now waiting for the contract formalities to be completed.

Marko Jovanović was born on the 26th of March 1988 in Belgrade. He plays in the defence. He is 189 cm tall. He began his professional career in Budućnost Arilje. Then in 2001, he joined FK Partizan. Four years later he was lent to FK Teleoptik and in 2007, he returned to FK Partizan. With FK Partizan, he won the Serbian league four times in a row and the Serbia Cup three times.
He had his European debut on the 23rd of October 2008 in a UEFA Cup match between FK Partizan and U.C. Sampdoria. In the 2010/2011 season, Jovanović played in 10 Champions League games.
Jovanović was called up to Serbia U-21 national team. He was also a member of Serbia’s Olympic Team during the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing.
Gervasio Nunez was born on the 29th of January 1988 in Argentina. He is a midfielder. He began his career in Rosario Central. As a member of the club, he played in 53 matches and scored 5 goals. In Rosario, Nunez played until the end of the 2009/2010 season, when the club was relegated to a lower league. He moved to Quilmes Atlético Club, with which he played in 22 matches.
