As soon as the sparring match in Gdansk has begun the supporters gathered at the stadium were amazed to see Paweł Buzała scoring a goal for the home team in the 18. second of the game. In the first half the Wisla team could not cope with extremely dangerous counter-attacks of their rivals, which allowed the Lechia team score another goal. The Lechia team also managed to break the Wisla defensive, which allowed them to take good goal-scoring positions several times. However, either they were not successful or the Cracow team was lucky then.

Maciej Skorza's players tried to even the score, but they managed to do this at the beginning of the second half. In the 49. minute of the game Paweł Brożek craftly kicked the ball in the net on a pass from Patryk Małecki. The White Star was only happy for a while with the draw. Lechia’s captain, Karol Piątek, scored a penalty in the 66. minute of the game and the home team were already winning 2:1.

The Wisla players started to fight their way back into the race. In the 76. minute Marek Zieńczuk from Lechia took a free kick and directly scored its first goal in this season. Six minutes later another goal was scored by Wojciech Łobodziński who replaced Junior Diaz in the 70. minute of the game. The result was 3:2 for the Wisla team, but 4 minutes later Łobodziński scored another goal and the final game result was 4:2 for the White Star.
