Hit of the round for Wisła

The 3rd round hit winner of T-Mobile Ekstraklasa emerged in the 87th minute of the game, when the entering from the bench Guerrier defeated Burić. The other two goals for the team from Wawel were scored by Garguła, respectively in the 17th and 28th minute. Thanks to the 3:2 win, the White Star returned to Kraków with a full set of points.

Already in the first minute of the match the hosts had the opportunity to take the lead when Douglas took over the ball following a foul by Dudka, but the Lech defender’s shot was stopped by Wisła players. Moments later, Hamalainen found himself in a good position, but this time Dudka managed to fix his earlier mistake. 
 
The 5th minute brought about another situation for Lech, because Hamalainen saw the oncoming Teodorczyk, who sent the ball over the bar in a one-on-one situation with Buchalik. Seven minutes later, Dudek has launched Paweł Brożek, but the striker from Wawel was flagged for offside.
 
In the 14th minute, coach Rumak’s players once again attempted to make Buchalik’s life miserable, but Keita's shot from outside the penalty box was blocked. In response, Sadlok played the ball nicely into the box to Jankowski, but the defenders from Poznań managed to kick the ball into the corner. 
 
Three minutes later Burliga gave a shot, which caused some problems for the Kolejorz goalkeeper. "Bury" got to the ball launched by the Lech keeper and played it to Garguła, whose sure shot gave the White Star a lead.
 
Another promising action of coach Franciszek Smuda’s players took place in the 24th minute, when rushing Jankowski received a brilliant pass. Wisła Kraków midfielder indiscriminately crossed into Lech’s penalty box, but other players failed to reach the ball. Several dozen seconds later, the Lechits could have equalized, but Buchalik gave a beautiful parade after Lovrencsics’ attempt. 
 
In the 28th minute, the White Star players switched from counterattack to attempt at a second goal. This time Boguski took over the assist, passing defenders in the rivals’ penalty area and playing to Garguła, who surely placed the ball in the net with a close range shot. Seven minutes later, Sadlok decided to attempt a long shot, but missed.
 
One hundred and twenty seconds later, Brożek took over the ball and headed towards the Kolejorz goal, but missed in a one-on-one situation with the keeper. Moments later, the Wisła striker tried to fix his mistake, but also this time the ball did not make it into the goal. 
 
Two minutes before halftime, Štilić launched a lone offensive, but, after passing the opposing team’s player, lost the ball in the penalty area and was unable to give a shot. Moments later the ball was placed in the Poznań goal by Burliga, but the referee called offside. 
 
After halftime, 48 minutes into the game, Pawłowski tried to surprise Buchalik, but his strike was not very precise and the ball landed offside. After four minutes, Trałka softly landed the ball in the penalty box, where unattended Jevtić had already been waiting, but the shot launched by the hosts’ midfielder was caught by the White Star’s keeper.
 
In the 59th minute, Buchalik released the ball after a shot by Kownacki. The ball was reached by Trałka, but the goalkeeper from Wawel managed to stop him. Referee supervising the meeting decided that Wisła’s goalkeeper fouled the Kolejorz player and ordered penalty. Captain of the hosting team, Hubert Wołąkiewicz, scored a contact goal with a corner shot. 
 
Six minutes later, Wisła could have attempted to score the third goal, when Boguski saw the entering Sadlok, who immediately directed ball towards the goal, but the hosts’ defenders were on guard. In response, Lech launched an offensive on the White Star goal, but Keita took too long to shoot and was blocked by Głowacki. 
 
74th minute saw another chance for coach Smuda’s players to increase the outcome of the match. Once again, Boguski played to Brożek, who was facing a one-on-one situation, but Burić was able to could grab ball from under his feet, saving his team from conceding a goal. Five minutes later, Keita received a nice pass from Hamalainen, but the ball grazed the outside of the post.
 
In the 83rd minute, after a foul on Kownacki, Douglas was finally able to equalize, defeating Buchalik with a technical shot. A change of action occurred three minutes before the end of the game, as Guerrier scored a winning goal, sending the ball in between the legs of the Lech keeper.
