In the 3rd minute Jagiellonia already earned their first goal. Pazdan played to Grzyb, and his attempt at passing the ball into the midfield resulted in a shot. Unfortunately, the ball accidentally went past Miśkiewicz and into the net. 120 seconds later, ball headed by Pazdan missed its target. In the 8th minute Wisła should have evened the score. Triangular action by Garguła, Chrapek and Paweł Brożek resulted in a quick pass exchange. Great pass from Chrapek over the heads of the hosts’ defense allowed the White Star striker to find himself face to face with "Yaga’s" keeper. Unfortunately, "Brozio" lost the duel with Baran.

In the 12th minute Plizga decided on a shot from 30 meters, however, Miśkiewicz was on guard. Two minutes later it was 2:0 for the home team. Guerrier let go of Quintana’s pressing, allowing him to center the ball onto Piatkowski’s head. The striker trained by Piotr Stokowiec boldly placed the ball inside the net. In 21st Burliga played fast ball with Stjepanovic, but unfortunately the Wisła defender gave an off target pass to Paweł Brożek.
Jagiellonia then attempted to raise the score. Not a moment passed without Wisła being harassed by Quintana. The player from Białystok was especially problematic for Burliga. In the 30th minute Głowacki played a through ball to Chrapek, but the ball was kicked out by the Jagiellonia goalie. After a while, the hosts enacted a quick counterattack after a bad pass Paul Brożek. Plizga  found himself in a good situation, but failed to control the ball, which Miśkiewicz was quicker to catch.

10 minutes before halftime, Piątkowski received the ball after a play by Quintana and passed it to Pazdan hurrying towards the penalty box. However, the defensive midfielder from Kraków failed to receive the ball. Then, Chrapek perpendicular passed to Guerriera, but his pass to Paweł Brożek was blocked by defenders from Białystok. It did not take half a minute for Wisła to earn a contact goal. Garguła crossed the corner and passed the ball to "Brozio", who boldly launched the ball into the net.

Shortly after halftime, Głowacki played a through ball to Guerrier. The Haitian volleyed the ball, minimally missing the target. In the 54th minute Jagiellonia raised the score to 3:1. Quintana passed to Piątkowski, who played back heel to Plizga, who with an unstoppable shot put the ball in the left corner of Miśkiewicz’s goal.

Wisła could have quickly responded with a goal. Unfortunately, despite finding himself in a convenient shooting situation, Guerrier lost the ball. Once again in this match we witnessed fantastic play by Chrapek. Moments later good through ball sent by Paweł Brożek was kicked out of bounds by Ukah. In 67th minute Głowacki played too short to Jovanovic. Jagiellonia charged in counterattack, but thankfully for Wisła, Piatkowski’s ball went over the crossbar. The same player attemted a head shot after play by Quintana, but Miśkiewicz surely caught the ball.

However, in the 70th minute Piatkowski made no mistakes. After a play by Quintana, Plizga passed the ball to the “Yaga” striker, who had no mercy for the White Star keeper. Wisła was given another shot after losing the goal. Sarki centered onto Boguski’s head, but unfortunately Baran managed to intercept the ball before it reached its target. Moments later Paweł Brożek assisted by Garguła again missed the goal.

Wisła continued to fight. In the last quarter of the game Paweł Brożek headed the ball towards  the White Star captain, Głowacki, who drove the ball into Baran’s goal. Two minutes later, in the confusion around the guest penalty box, Piątkowski atd to shoot twice, but was blocked each time. After a while Paweł Brożek crossed to Boguski, who missed the goal from a 7 meter distance. Franciszek Smuda's players should have been closer to Jagiellonia’s goal.

Ten minutes before end of the match, Paweł Brożek extended the ball to Sarki, who hit the goalpost. The 84th minute saw a shot at the goal by Norambuena. However, Miśkiewicz was again on guard. The match really was full of situations. Głowacki gave a shot just before the end, but Baran successfully defended the goal. Two minutes before the end Dźwigała raised the score to 5:2. For the second time in this match, Bunoza losing the ball resulted in a goal for "Yaga".
