In the first half of the game, Terek was the stronger side. They had more ball possession and tried positional play. The White Star's rivals, however, did not gain any significant advantage and only managed to create three goalscoring opportunities. Ailton was closest to scoring in the 18th minute. His shot from the penalty box was stopped by Miśkiewicz, but it took Głowacki's help to prevent the ball from crossing the goal line.

In the second half, the odds were even and Wisła finally got some good goalscoring opportunities. Sikorski tried to top off the shooting chances, but Godzyur was unstoppable. This, however, changed in the 69th minute. "Sikor" got the ball from Kosowski, dribbled past Terek's goalkeeper and scored from a very acute angle.

Wisła held on to the lead for the remainder of the game. Not only that, it was Kraków who came close to scoring another goal. Once again, Sikorski was on the offence. The shots were stopped by Godzyur and then by his substitute for the final 10 minutes of the game - Arbi.
