It is not very common for Ekstraklasa matches to involve two penalties, both saved, two red cards and to be full of emotions and competition. This happened in Kielce where the “White Star” played to a 2-2 draw with Korona.

Wisła took the initiative from the beginning of the match and confirmed it by a goal scored by Genkov in the 12th minute. Wisła had an advantage over their opponent for 30 minutes to unnecessarily yield the initiative to Korona, who managed to create several opportunities to score. Edi wasted the best opportunity for the team from Kielce when he failed to execute a penalty. His shot was saved by Sergei Pareiko who then stopped Niedzielan in a one-to-one situation.

During the second half, emotions began in the 52nd minute. This time, Patryk Małecki wasted his penalty. After a while, Wisła had to play with ten players when Radosław Sobolewski saw a red card after his participation in a pushing and shoving. Despite playing with ten players, Wisła managed to score another goal. After a beautiful action of Melikson who passed several opponents and served the ball to Genkov. Genkov did not miss the opportunity and scored another goal for Wisła.

Korona managed to respond immediately with a goal from Korzym. Then, both Wisła – Genkov and Wilk – and Korona – Lisowski and Hernani – had chances to score.

Korona managed to make it in the extra time. After a free kick executed by Vuković, the ball rebounded from Wilk and ended up in the net next to surprised Pereiko.
