Published: 22-03-2011 12:46After seven won games, Wisła played a 2-2 draw against Polonia in Bytom. With the home team taking the lead twice, the White Star managed to get a draw.

The results of the 19th Round of the Ekstraklasa were all favourable for Wisła Kraków. Their main opponents were defeated. Thus, Robert Maaskant’s team had a great chance to gain an advantage over their rivals. However, as soon as in the 2nd minute of their match against Polonia, it was clear that Wisła were not going to make it easily as Polonia scored a goal. After a poor goal kick, the ball was captured by Radzewicz who seized his opportunity. Wisła’s response came in the 19th minute when Andraž Kirm scored with a spectacular free kick executed over 20 meters from the goal. Three minutes later Marcin Juszczyk saved Polonia from losing another goal after a shot from Tomáš Jirsák.
The home team had several chances too but in the 63rd minute, the scoreboard still showed a draw. Then, after a long-distance shot by Trytko, the ball was punched away by Pareiko and taken over by Jarecki who put it into the empty goal. Two minutes later, Jarecki could score another goal but he missed.
In the 69th minute, Genkov was fouled in Polonia’s penalty area. The penalty was successfully executed by Małecki. The result was 2-2. Both teams battled to win. However, no more goals were scored.
