Wisła prevailed in the first half and missed at least one goal-scoring opportunity.  Paweł Brożek was the only player who scored for Wisła. „Brozio” received a pass from Patryk Małecki, who swapped the ball to the left foot and passed it into the penalty area. The White Star player jumped the highest and put the ball in the back of the net. Kirm also received a pass from the right side, evaded the defenders of the opposing team and came into a one-to-one situation with Mattersburg’s goalkeeper and … hit the woodwork.

At the beginning of the second half Wisła missed two goal-scoring opportunities. First, Piotr Brożek and his brother were close to scoring the second goal in the second sparring match in a row, but the goalkeeper of the host team stayed calm and caught the ball at the right moment. Piotr Ćwielong hit the woodwork after receiving the ball from Patryk Małecki. Following several minutes the White Star players became weaker, and Mattersburg turned out to be very dangerous on the counter-attack. Wisła lost the first goal in 65. minute after a beautiful shot by Cem Atan right in the corner of the net. In the 73. minute, Robert Waltner scored from a short distance. Wisła was defeated 1:2.
