The game between the third-place claimants began with a serious-looking accident. In the 3rd minute of the game, Dragan Paljić collided with Pavel Sultes in Wisła’s penalty area and lost consciousness. The player had to be taken to hospital.

The first half was balanced. Both teams had their opportunities but neither managed to defeat the goalkeeper of the opposite team. In the 10th minute, Melikson’s shot was blocked by Tomasz Jodłowiec at the last moment. In response, Sultes slightly missed with his attempt. In the extra time of the first half, Małecki found himself very close to scoring to 1-0. After a pass from Melikson, he ran towards the end line, rushed into the penalty area, passed a defender but waited too long with his shot and eventually was blocked.

The key moment of the match was the 58th minute, when Junior Diaz saw a red card. Not only did the White Star have to play with one player less, but also had to reshuffle their defence. Having a one-man advantage, the away team managed to create more dangerous situations at Wisła’s goal. With eight minutes to go, Jeż played a free kick onto the penalty area and the ball was captured by Sultes who managed to defeat Pareiko with a low shot.
