After the team's poor performance against GKS, Tomasz Kulawik decided to make one important change in the line-up and introduced striker Rafał Boguski. The decision was spot on. Wisła scored the winning goals in the last six minutes of the first half. In the 39th minute, Małecki passed towards the goal to Boguski who shot and scored. In the 45th minute, Boguski defeated Słowik once more. This time, Kamil Kosowski provided the pass - after being blocked off the first time, his second attempt reached Boguski. Rafał raised the score to 2:0.

After halftime, the home team lost the initiative and came close to losing a goal. In the 50th minute, the referee made a controversial decision to award Jagiellonia a penalty. Kupisz approached the ball, but Pareiko managed to stop his shot. Three minutes later, Dźwigała hit the post and Ukaha's follow-up was stopped by Kosowski. Earlier, Boguski knocked the ball out of the goal line after a shot by Kupisz.
