Bitter defeat in Szczecin

The White Star returns from Szczecin with no points and a baggage of two goals. The end result may have been different if not for the referees' mistakes that led to Kraków losing both goals.

From the very first minute of the match in Szczecin, both teams fought hard to secure the badly needed points. The game-changing moment came 40 minutes into the game. Robert Kolendowicz fell inside Wisła's penalty box and after a moment of hesitation, the referee awarded a penalty kick. Replays show that Adam Lyczmański's decision was wrong, as there was no foul on Bunoza's part. Edi Andradina took the penalty, slotting the ball in with a powerful kick.

This was not the only mistake of the three referees, and the second one was just as catastrophic in result. In the 59th minute, after a pass from Przemysław Pietruszka, Robert Kolendowicz was in front of the goal. His shot went in just below Pareiko's crossbar. However, the referees failed to notice that Kolendowicz was offside at the moment of the pass.

Manager Michał Probierz tried to salvage the situation by sending in Rafał Boguski and Michał Szewczyk, but the two-goal deficit was too much for the White Star to change the outcome of the game.
