Plans of preparations for the season
Published: 24-06-2008 12:17As early as Tuesday the Wisła football team players will start preparing for the new season and fight for the right to play in the Champions League. First the players will have to undergo thorough examination.
Preparations will start on Tuesday at 5 p.m. On the same day the players will undergo examination. Wisła players will stay in Cracow till 29 June. On Saturday they will play their first training match with GKS Jastrzębie.
On 30 June The whole White Star team will go for training to Austria. They will stay in Bad Waltersdorf- the same place as the Polish national team. Four training matches have been scheduled for Wisła’s stay in Austria. On 2 July the team will play with FK Austria Wien, on 5 July with Hapoel Haifa F.C. and on 8 July with F.C. Copenhagen. The White Star team will play the final training match in Austria on 11 July. Their opponent hasn't been ultimately confirmed yet.
On coming back to Poland on 15 July the Wisła team will play a training match with its namesake of Płock. On 19 July the White Star will go to Switzerland where it will play a training match with FC Liverpool. A week later league matches will start.
