The item to be auctioned is the Polish Championship medal from the 2007/2008 season! Proceeds from the auction will go towards the treatment of terminally ill children at the Father Pio Center for Hospice Care and Treatment.

“The Hospice Center” is located in Kraków and has been in operation for 2 years. The center is dedicated to caring for terminally ill children. Aside from medical care, the “Center” provides legal and social assistance to the parents of its little patients. The center is currently providing care to 19 children from throughout the entire Małopolska region. A physician and 4 nurses are responsible for the children’s care. 70 volunteers also work at the center, dedicating their free time to the “Center’s” patients.

Wisła Kraków has decided to lend its aid to the hospice center by putting up for auction the original gold medal that they received for winning the Polish Championship title. We invite all of the White Star’s sympathizers to take part in the auction!

Previous bid: 5 000 zł
The medal’s asking price: 1 500 zł

The auction will last until July 21st 2008. The winner shall be given the medal during the league match between Wisła Kraków and Ruch Chorzów. We invite you to make a bid!
