The team’s coach Maciej Skorża selected seven regular players of the Ekstraklasa Youth League to play the match. Yet, it turned out that Wisła’s youth players did not manage to defeat the more experienced Śląsk Wrocław team. In the first half the visitors had a 1-goal advantage over the home team following Tomasz Szewczuk’s goal in the 16. minute of the game. The home team attacked the opponents in the 38. minute of the game. However, Jacek Banaszyński managed to prevent Grzegorz Kmiecik from scoring a goal with a header, although not without difficulties, and knocked the ball over the crossbar.

In the 66. minute of the game Grzegorz Kmiecik again had the chance to even the score but he failed to take advantage of the great pass by Krzysztof Mączyński. Then in the next 7 fatal minutes the home team lost 3 goals.

In the 75. minute of the game Seweryn Gancarczyk brought the score to 2-0, scoring the goal on a pass from Remigiusz Sobociński and defeated Marcin Juszczyk, taking a through ball shot at goal. Just 4 minutes later the Wrocław team was winning 3-0. Following the commotion in the Wisła’s penalty area, the ball went to Piotr Celeban who scored a goal from several meters. Sobociński brought the team’s final score to 4-0, taking advantage of Michał Jani's mistake. He intercepted the ball and in a one-to-one duel with Juszczyk he did not lose his chance. Śląsk shot at Wisła's goal once again but Sobociński was in an offside position so the referee did not award the goal.

A player who definitely deserves praise for the game is Andre Barretto. He made every effort to play the ball, often helped his young fellow players in the defence. Many thanks should also go to Wisła’s supporters who cheered on the team throughout the whole game.
