In the 3rd minute, following a free kick by Marek Zieńczuk, the ball was put in the back of the net by Marcin Baszczyński. Wisła scored the first goal right after the game started and it seemed that some more goals will follow, but none of the numerous goal-scoring opportunities was finished off properly. Ćwielong, Zieńczuk, Boguski, Łobodziński, Diaz, Jirsak and Małecki had the best opportunities to defeat the Jagiellonia’s goalkeeper, Radosław Gikiewic. However, in crucial moments they lacked cold blood to finish up their actions.

Rafał Boguski and Wojciech Łobodziński wasted the best chances of the game. Wojciech Łobodziński passed the ball to Rafał Boguski in the 64th minute, but the Jagiellonia goalkeeper kicked the ball out of the goal line. In extra time, Wojciech Łobodziński got a perfect pass right in front of the Jagiellonia penalty area and sent the ball over the crossbar. Mariusza Pawełek from Wisła was in danger of losing a goal only once. In the 59th minute, he cleared the ball in a one-to-one situation with Kojasević.
