The 90th anniversary was a great occasion to celebrate for the club and its supporters. The stadium at 83 Limanowskiego Street in Częstochowa gathered over 8 thousand spectators. The match against Wisła was preceded by a short gala ceremony that was attended by the mayor among other prominent guests.

After the ceremony, attention was focused on the teams of Wisła and Raków. It came as no surprise that it was Robert Maaskant’s team that dominated on the pitch. They showed, however, very poor efficiency. In the 19th minute, being in a one-on-one situation, Ivica Iliev shot straight at the goalkeeper. The home team had to resort to defence but managed to launch one counter attack that ended up with a goal. With a beautiful shot from behind the penalty area, Łukasz Kowalczyk forced Milan Jovanić to surrender. At the beginning of the second half, Dragan Paljić was fouled in Raków penalty area. The penalty kick was executed by Dudu Biton, but the goalkeeper managed to parry the ball to the side.
